The Greater Bay Area Youth Forum 2023 was successfully held on 2 November 2023 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).  This significant event brought together young individuals from Hong Kong for engaging discussions and fruitful exchanges.  Notably, over 70 students and staff members, including Business Discipline students from IVE(ST) and IVE(TY), actively participated in the forum.

With the aim of addressing new economic challenges and harnessing the opportunities presented by the Greater Bay Area, distinguished professionals and young leaders from various sectors were invited to share their insights on three key youth-related topics: "Entrepreneurship Across Disciplines", "Innovation Across Generations", and "Culture and Sports Across Borders".  These discussions aimed to inspire the younger generation to think innovatively, explore diverse career paths, and leverage the unique advantages offered in the Greater Bay Area to unlock their full potential and realize their aspirations as future corporate leaders and entrepreneurs.

Mr Daryl Ng Win-kong, Chairman of the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation and Deputy Chairman of Sino Group, expressed his sincere hope that young people in Hong Kong would equip themselves with essential technological skills and embark on their professional journeys with creativity, innovation, and imagination.  He emphasized the significance of leading Hong Kong to become an international hub for innovation and technology, thereby enhancing the city's competitiveness on a global scale.

VTC and the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation are jointly committed to prioritizing education and training, providing unwavering support to Hong Kong’s youth in their pursuits of Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET), career development, and entrepreneurial endeavours.  By offering tailored high-quality support that caters to the specific needs of young individuals in Hong Kong, we endeavour to further promote youth innovation and entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area.
