HSBC Speak for Success Programme 2022-23

The "HSBC Speak for Success Programme" aims to offer exceptional learning experiences for students, enhancing their verbal communication, presentation and public speaking skills through a series of workshops, talks, projects, social interactions and sharing sessions.  Thanks to the generous sponsorship and long-standing support from The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, the Programme has benefited more than 30,000 VTC students since its launch in 2014.

On 30 June 2023, the HSBC Speak for Success Programme Presentation Competition cum Awards Presentation Ceremony was held, featuring fourteen finalists who competed for awards in the English, Cantonese, and Putonghua categories. Additionally, outstanding students received the Best Performance and Best Improvement Awards from the guests from HSBC and industry professionals.
Thanks to the unwavering support from HSBC, the Programme will continue into the next academic year and several new elements will be introduced to align with the theme of “Empowering Youth for the 21st Century”. These new features will include Skills Training, Application in Community, Workplace Familiarisation, and Excavating Greater Bay Area.
