Honorary Fellowships

Sr Eddie LAM Kin-wing is a Professional Construction Manager, Registered Professional Surveyor, Chartered Surveyor and Chartered Builder. Sr Lam is the Chairman of Thelloy Development Group Limited, which provides professional building construction management services, Repair, Maintenance, Alteration and Addition (RMAA) works and Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) in Hong Kong. He is also the President of the Hong Kong Construction Association, the Chairman of the Construction Industry Training Board, a Member of the Construction Industry Council and the Honorary President of the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers. With his over 40 years of experience and strong connection in planning, operating and managing construction projects, he plays an active role in the construction industry, including the promotion of Green Building.
 

Actively involved in serving the community, Sr Lam is currently a Member of the Mandatory Provident Fund Industry Schemes Committee of Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, the Pneumoconiosis Compensations Fund Board, the Land and Development Advisory Committee and Building Contractors Committee of the Development Bureau. Sr Lam also served as a Member of the Governing Council of the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (2013-2019).
 

Sr Lam has been incredibly supportive to VTC, serving as Chairman (2014-2021) and Member (2011-2014) of the Building, Civil Engineering and Built Environment Training Board. During his tenure in the Training Board, he was also a Member of the Working Party on Manpower Survey and the Working Party on Promotion and Publicity. He was instrumental in facilitating the well-known Infrastructure Building Competition for Secondary Schools, co-organised by Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi) and the Hong Kong Construction Association, promoting interest in engineering among senior secondary students.
