Honorary Fellowships

Ms Bianca MA Kin-san possesses extensive experience in the media, communication, and public relations sector. She began her career in advertising and marketing. Having worked for prestigious media companies, including Hill & Knowlton, Leo Burnett, DMB&B, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Foote Cone & Belding, she joined Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited in 1994 as Director of Marketing, and was soon promoted to Sales and Marketing Controller. Ms Ma then worked in Hutchison Telecommunications before she re-joined Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited in 2001. She led the company as Managing Director since 2006 until her retirement in 2016.
 

In 2007, Ms Ma was named one of the China’s 100 Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs by the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs. In 2008, Ms Ma was elected Winner of the Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs Award by the Hong Kong Women Professionals and Entrepreneurs Association. In 2015, she was conferred Fellowship by the Asian College of Knowledge Management.
 

Ms Ma also devotes her expertise to community services. She is currently member of the Public Relations Committee of The Community Chest of Hong Kong. She is also Member of The Court of The City University of Hong Kong.
 

In VTC, Ms Ma has been the Chairperson for Media and Communications Training Board (MCTB) (formerly ‘Mass Communications Training Board’) since 2013 after joining the Board as member since 2009. She was the Convenor of the MCTB’s Working Party on Manpower Survey of the Media and Communications Industry (2016). Apart from her roles in MCTB, Ms Ma has actively participated in VTC’s recruitment boards and programme boards. She also served in the Sub-committee for VTC 35th Anniversary Tribute Dinner.
