Honorary Fellowships

Mr LEUNG On-fook is a prominent figure in the insurance industry with over 40 years of experience. He is the Chairman and the Founder of the Everbest Insurance Group, and the founding President of the Hong Kong Society of Certified Insurance Practitioners.
 

Mr Leung is devoted to the development of insurance industry, offering valuable advice in his professional capacities on various fronts. As the Chairman of the Insurance Industry Training Advisory Committee under the Education Bureau, he oversees the implementation of Qualifications Framework and the development of Specification of Competency Standards of the insurance industry. He also serves as a member of the Insurance Sector Skills Upgrading Scheme under the Labour and Welfare Bureau to promote the development of the Skills Upgrading Scheme.
 

He has been serving as the Chairman of the Insurance Training Board in the VTC since 2007. During his tenure Mr Leung is well recognised for his contributions in enriching the VTC’s programmes towards quality standards and strengthening VTC’s relationship with the insurance industry.
 

Mr Leung is also a distinguished figure in public and community work. He was the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Scout Association of Hong Kong from 1999 to 2009. Mr Leung was awarded the Badge of Honour in 1987 and appointed Justice of the Peace in 2004 in recognition of his contribution to the community.
