The program specializes in strategic marketing communications and is proud to train students to become modern marketers with custom advertising and marketing pieces. The programme provides an in-house Photo Studio, professional audio and visual facilities, computing software and hardware, for students’ classroom practice and industrial attachment.
Advertising and new media modules emphasize to take a holistic and integrated view of a talented society and apply a communications mix that is a mobile-first approach, underpinned by traditional media, to engage and reach the right audience at the right time.
Graduates are competent to develop their career in the fields of advertising/PR, marketing, and media. In advertising, media and PR firms, they can be employed as Advertising Officers, Account Executives, Designers, PR officers, Social Media Content Developers, and Event Planners, Youtubers, etc. In the marketing field, graduates can be employed as Marketing Officers or Brand Executives. The career prospect is interesting and highly diversified.
Graduates can pursue relevant degrees locally or overseas. They can also apply for admission to the top-up degree programmes in Hong Kong offered by the following university in collaboration with the School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) :
