What Parents Say

During her three years at YCI, my daughter thrived in project based learning that eased exam pressure and sparked her passion. She grew confident, found her direction, and earned a place at a UK university, even joining research projects with her outstanding performance recognized by her professors. Seeing her growth, I gladly chose YCI for my son too, knowing it builds a solid future for my children.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated teachers at YCI for their unwavering support and guidance to my son, Martin. After struggling in a traditional school setting, Martin rediscovered his passion for learning and uncovered a deep interest in design thanks to the college’s nurturing environment and flexible teaching approach. He has also been fortunate to gain hands-on experience through participating in various design competitions.
I truly hope that more parents can come to know this outstanding institution, which offers internationally recognised BTEC qualifications and a team of dedicated educators. Traditional schools are not the only path. YCI provides students with a more open and interest-driven learning environment, helping them discover their strengths, grow independently, and broaden their horizons. It lays a solid foundation for them to become globally minded professionals and future leaders.

YCI DVB Sport provides an inspiring alternative educational path for senior secondary students, like my son, Theo. Before joining, he was still searching for motivation and a sense of purpose in his studies. This program’s unique blend of academic knowledge and practical application helped him rediscover the joy of learning and build confidence in his ability to pursue tertiary education. As a student of the first graduating class in the Sport programme, Theo navigated new territory when applying to colleges and universities. With the support and preparation he received, he successfully applied to both local and overseas institutions and is now pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science in Australia. I would like to extend my gratitude to the YCI team for making a difference in teenagers’ lives.

YCI provides quality learning experiences one might only get from international school system. The school is giving students a lot of space and encouragement for their personal development. A semester has passed. Slowly but surely I’ve noticed the attitude change in my son. He’s become more motivated and independent in handling various tasks with a sense of responsibility. In addition to regular lessons, YCI also offers a variety of extracurricular activities and meaningful field trips. I think my son is one of the lucky few because the school is so supportive. This education opportunity ought to be cherished and treasured by the students and parents.

The Design programme is significant to students who have design talents and don't fit in the DSE system, especially for those who have the interest to learn in English.
