Major Duties: |
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in conducting research work related to cloning and expression of enzymes for CO2 removal from water and wastewater. He/she will be required to conduct experiments, materials testing, data analysis, preparation of report for journal publications and perform other research duties as assigned by the PI. |

Requirements: |
For the post of Term Research Assistant I, applicants should have a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related disciplines; or a recognised degree in related disciplines with relevant work experience. |

For the post of Term Research Assistant II, applicants should have a sub-degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related disciplines; or equivalent level of study. |
|
He/she should possess hands-on experience in cloning, expression, purification and characterisation of enzymes. Those with experience in enzymes immobilisation are preferred but not essential. He/she should also have good interpersonal and social skills, as well as proficient communication skills in English and Chinese. |
