Major Duties : |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties, including supervision of students’ projects; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; and |
(c) |
To participate in projects and functions of the Language Centre. |

Requirements : |
(a) |
(i) |
A recognised degree in English Language / English Language and Literature / Language Studies (English) / Linguistics / Education (English) / English Communication / Translation (English); OR |
|
(ii) |
A recognised degree in a non-relevant field; AND a relevant English teaching qualification, such as Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma in Education (majoring in English), Teaching English as a Second Language or Teaching English as a Foreign Language or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA / Trinity CertTESOL and English-teaching certification recognised by TESL Canada) or English for Specific Purposes (ESP). A transcript with course details including the number of hours of instruction and practicum should be provided for consideration; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching experience; |
(c) |
Good communication, presentation and digital skills; and |
(d) |
A good team player, able to work on own initiative and willing to meet challenges. |

Notes : |
(1) |
Preference will be given to candidates who have relevant teaching experience. |
(2) |
Candidate with less experience may be considered for the post of “Assistant Lecturer” which is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(4) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
