Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(d) |
To act as Module Co-ordinator / Leader of Structured Whole Person Development (SWPD) Programme; |
(e) |
To plan, design, organise and evaluate student developmental programmes; and |
(f) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree in Social Science, Social Work, Liberal Studies, or relevant discipline, or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
Preferably with relevant teaching and/or industry experience in teaching and developing generic skills modules, leading discipline projects, organising experiential learning programmes, adventure-based activities and training, student services or youth work and/or working with experience in teaching and supporting students with special educational needs will be an advantage; |
(c) |
A good team player with the ability to work independently under pressure; |
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; and |
(e) |
Well-versed in e-learning. |
