Programme Content
The programme covers areas of knowledge and technological concepts in the field of air-conditioning and refrigeration. It provides students with all-rounded training, which includes basic technical knowledge and techniques as well as training areas like Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Principles, Building Services Engineering Technology, Electrical Theory, Building Services Engineering Drawing, Mechanical Science, Air-conditioning and Ventilation System, Project, etc. It serves as a strong foundation for students to cope with the advancement and changing needs in the relevant field.

Career Prospects
Graduates could be employed as craftsmen or engineering assistants in the trade of air-conditioning and refrigeration after completing their apprenticeship.
Articulation
Graduates can further their studies in the Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programme. Holders of Diploma of Vocational Education are considered having met the general entrance requirements of Higher Diploma programmes (not applicable to programmes with specific entrance requirements). Professional Recognition
The programme is recognised by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of the HKSAR Government as satisfying the academic requirements for the registration as Grade 'R' electrical worker.
