Programme Stream
Students may choose one of the following streams so as to enhance professional knowledge and skills in specific areas:
  • Higher Diploma in Digital Fashion Branding and Buying (Buying and Omnichannel Management)
  • Higher Diploma in Digital Fashion Branding and Buying (Product Development and Sustainability)
  • Higher Diploma in Digital Fashion Branding and Buying (Visual Merchandising and Digital Branding)
The 1st semester is a common semester. Students will progress to the streams in the 2nd semester, subject to their stream choice, academic performance and study place availability in specific streams.
Programme Aims
The programme consists of a wide range of interesting and practical fashion-related activities, including global fashion buying, fashion e-marketing, fashion event planning, sustainable fashion product development and sourcing, visual merchandising and display design, and fashion e-commerce to enrich students’ experience related to the global fashion industry.
 
The programme also emphasises on generic, language and communication training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.
Professional Recognition
Students are eligible to apply for student or ordinary membership of the Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA), the Hong Kong Institute of Textile and Apparel (HKITA), and the Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC).

Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
