Study Arrangement
The first year |
Participants will study a one-year full-time Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programme at the Youth College. |
The second to fifth years |
Participants will be employed by the participating companies as apprentices. Employers will also sponsor apprentices to study the part-time-day-release Higher Diploma programme. |
Allowance & Salary*
The second to fourth years |
Participants will receive a total subsidy of $30,800 from their employers, a guaranteed monthly salary not less than $9,000 and an average of $2,500 government allowance. The total monthly income will be above $10,000. |
The fifth year |
Full-time on-the-job training with a guaranteed monthly salary not less than $9,000. |
The second year of training Monthly salary not less than $9,000 and an average of $2,000 Government Allowance |
Monthly average $11,000 or above |
The third year of training Monthly salary not less than $9,000 and an average of $2,500 Government Allowance |
Monthly average $11,500 or above |
The fourth year of training Monthly salary not less than $9,000 and an average of $3,000 Government Allowance |
Monthly average $12,000 or above |
An additional subsidy during the second to fourth year | $30,800 |
The fifth year Full-time training |

Tuition Fees
- Participants will need to pay the tuition fees for DVE programme.
