Information Technology (Network Engineering and Security)

Enterprises, corporations, government departments and alike are more and more dependent on IT systems and cloud computing. The connectivity to the cyberspace has exposed these online processes to security threats. Ensuring network connectivity and cybersecurity has therefore become an indispensable part in the IT industry. This programme will be able to lay a solid foundation for young talents to pursue further studies in related IT areas.

Study Arrangement
The first year |
Participants will study the full –time Diploma of Vocational Education (Information Technology) programme at Youth College. |
The second to Third years |
Participants will be employed by the participating companies as apprentices. The employer will sponsor the trainee to study the part-time-day-release relevant DVE– ELS Programme. |
Allowance & Salary
The second to Third years |
The second to third years: Participants will receive a total of $30,800 Industry Incentive Allowance and $54,000 government subsidy from their employers and the government respectively. Given a guaranteed monthly salary not less than $8,000, the total monthly income can reach up to $10,000. |

The third year of training Monthly salary not less than $8,000 and an average of $2,500 Government Allowance |
Monthly average $10,500 or above |
An additional subsidy during second to third year | $30,800 |

Tuition Fee

* After graduating from the DVE-ELS, the trainee is required to complete relevant bridging courses at own arrangements for pursuing further studies in HD programmes.
