Note:

1. Diploma of Foundation Studies students who have not obtained Level 2 or above in HKDSE Mathematics may consider taking the optional module “Foundation Mathematics III” for the eligibility to apply for VTC's Higher Diploma programmes or related civil service jobs which require Level 2 or above in HKDSE Mathematics as one of their general entry requirements. Optional modules will not be included in the calculation of cumulative / award module average for Diploma of Foundation Studies.
   
2. All students will be required to take and pass all of the Structured Whole Person Development modules (total 16 credits) before graduation. Students possessing at least one year full-time work experience (from the date of attaining the qualifications that can meet the entry requirements of Diploma of Foundation Studies) can apply for module exemption subject to passing the related assessment.
