Diploma of Vocational Education (Mechanical Engineering)

The programme aims at helping students to develop, through a balanced curriculum with generic and vocational knowledge and skills, and structured whole person development competencies in the engineering trade so as to enhance their opportunities for employment and/or further studies. The Mechanical Engineering programme covers mainly fundamental mechanical engineering knowledge and skills required in the engineering trade. Graduates may choose to seek employment or further their studies.

1. Normally 3 semesters during one academic year, depending on students’ study progress and academic results.
   
2. For some modules of the programme, the medium of instruction and assessments is Chinese.
   
3. Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
