It helps students to develop professional competence and supervisory skills for occupational safety & health monitoring, accident investigation, risk assessment, first aid treatment, outdoor safety techniques, diving safety and so on. The programme is suitable for all secondary graduates who are planning to pursue a career and further study in safety science and operations. The programme is designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation. | |
Professional Recognition | The programme is recognised by the Labour Department of the HKSAR as a Scheduled Qualification for registration as Safety Officer under the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Officers and Safety Supervisors) Regulations. Graduates possess relevant work experience are eligible to apply for Registered Safety Officer (RSO). | |
