Cross-border Certification
The VTC p r ov i des v oca t i ona l
assessment for various ser vice
industries by making reference to
the Specifications of Competency
Standards drawn up by industries
under the QF. In 2013, the VTC built
upon its multipartite collaborations
to develop the ‘One Examination,
Multiple Cer tification’ (OEMC)
System, with beauty care and
hairdressing industries as the pilot
industries.
D u r i n g t h e y e a r, o v e r 2 2 0
candidates passed the examination
and were awarded cer tificates
recognised by Hong Kong , the
Mainland and overseas countries,
making them more competitive and
employable in the market. In early
2015, the System was extended
to the elderly care and printing
industries. In the year ahead, the
VTC will explore the possibility
o f e x t end i n g OEMC t o o t he r
industries such as procurement and
automobile.
In-service Training and
Consultation Services
In addition to promoting cross-
border certification, the VTC delivers
a wide range of in-service training
programmes to assist learners
i n upg r ad i ng t he i r a c ademi c
qualifications and professional
skills, thereby enhancing their
competitiveness.
The I ns t i t u t e o f P r o f ess i ona l
Education And Knowledge (PEAK)
provides quality training services for
in-service personnel, particularly in the
professional areas of such industries
as banking, finance, insurance and
information technology. Professional
consultancy ser vices and tailor-
made corporate training courses are
also offered to private corporations,
public organisations and Government
departments in Hong Kong. The VTC
Tao Miao Institute, operated by PEAK,
offers professional education and
training programmes for practitioners
of the catering industry.
跨境認證
VTC
根據資歷架構的「能力標準說
明」，為多個服務行業提供專業能力
評估。
VTC
在多方協作的基礎上，於
2013
年發展「一試多證」計劃，並
率先在美容及美髮業推行。
年內，超過
220
名考生通過考核，
同時取得獲香港、內地及國際認可
的資歷，競爭力與就業優勢大大提
升。
2015
年初，「一試多證」計劃更
擴展至安老服務及印刷業。日後，
VTC
會探討將計劃擴大至其他行業，
如採購業和汽車業等。
企業培訓及顧問服務
在推動跨境資歷認證以外，
VTC
亦開
辦多個在職培訓計劃，協助受訓人士
提升學歷和專業技能，加強競爭力。
高峰進修學院
(PEAK)
為多個行業的
僱員提供優質培訓服務，主要涉及
銀行、財務、保險及資訊科技等專
業範疇；又向私人企業、公共機構
及政府部門提供專業顧問服務，度
身設計培訓課程。由
PEAK
負責營運
的
VTC
稻苗學院，則為餐飲業僱員
提供課程及訓練，協助提升專業
水平。
