Programme Content
The programme equips electrical practitioners with sound technical knowledge and practical skills to suit the demands at works as a competent electrical craftsman. Areas being covered include Electrical Installation Technology, Electrical Installation Practices, Electrical Control Practices, Electrical Skills Fundamental Training, Industrial Electronics, Direct Current Circuits, Alternating Current Circuits and High-voltage Systems & Equipment, etc.
Career Prospects
Graduates may be employed as office maintenance electricians, electrical installation electricians and electrical services fitters.
Articulation
Graduates may apply for Certificate for Electrical Installation Technicians programme (Programme code: EG523405) offered by IVE.
Professional Recognition
The programme is approved by EMSD for the recognition as meeting the academic requirement for the registration as Grade A Electrical Worker. Graduates may apply for Grade A Electrical Worker registration with sufficient working experience.
