Programme Aims

The programme aims to provide students with comprehensive training in the field of fashion. It is designed to equip students with professional knowledge and skills related to various aspects of fashion, including fashion design and portfolio making, fashion color trend analysis, pattern design and sizing systemization, garment sewing, fabric design and manufacturing, fashion marketing etc.

By combining theoretical learning with practical application, the programme aims to prepare graduates for successful careers and further studies in the fashion industry. Upon completion of the programme, graduates will have the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue higher diploma programmes at HKDI or other members of VTC. Additionally, they will also have the opportunity to apply for admission to degree programmes offered both locally and overseas.

Notes

Normally 3 semesters during one academic year, depending on students’ study progress and academic results.
For some modules of the programmes, the medium of instruction and assessments is Chinese.
Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
