To nurture skilled and professional personnel at various levels through a variety of training schemes including the Apprenticeship Training Scheme in Hong Kong and help industries to cultivate skilled personnel for sustained development.

To identify training needs, manpower demand and emerging skills through the manpower surveys and disseminate the findings and recommendations to the Government, professional bodies, education institutes and industrial establishments for reference of their manpower planning and development.

To promote mobility of talent through various vocational assessments including recognition of prior learning and One Examination, Multiple Certification system within and beyond Hong Kong.

To build enduring relationships with partners of VTC, including industry, charitable organisations as well as alumni to secure donations and philanthropic support for the betterment of student development and the advancement of VTC’s strategic development.

To promote and cultivate an innovation and entrepreneurial culture for the nurture of innovation and technology talents through industry collaborations and co-creation projects.

Through coordination and engagement with internal stakeholders, strengthen industry networking efforts to solicit their support in maintaining VTC’s status as a leading institution in vocational and professional education and training in the region.
