The Vocational Professionals Admission Scheme (VPAS) is an initiative promulgated by the HKSAR Government, aiming to attract non-local students to remain in Hong Kong upon graduation to work in a skilled trade relevant to their programmes of study.

The VPAS will run as a pilot programme for two years, aiming to attract non-local students (including those from Mainland China and other countries/regions1) to enrol in VPAS eligible VTC full-time Higher Diploma (2-year) programmes and remain in Hong Kong for employment in the skilled trades relevant to their programmes of study, leveraging their acquired expertise to contribute to crucial industries as technical professionals or specialists.

1Non-local students enrolled in the VPAS eligible VTC full-time Higher Diploma (2-year) programmes can apply for the “Vocational Professionals Admission Scheme (VPAS)” upon graduation. However, applicants must reach the age of 18 or above when they submit their VPAS applications.
