Programme Aims | The programme aims to deliver a quality education, with vocational and generic elements, that will enable students to achieve both the basic skills required for developing a career in the industry, and a sound academic foundation for further studies. The programme emphasises heavily on communication, in particular English, Chinese with Putonghua and information technology, as these areas are particularly important in the workplace. Emphasis is also placed on the development of interpersonal skills and teamwork, and a student-centred approach. | |
Career Prospects | The programme equips students with the skills required for employment in the engineering industries and prepares them for further studies. | |
Articulation | Diploma of Foundation Studies graduates are eligible to apply for VTC Higher Diploma programmes, which normally require five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including Chinese Language and English Language. | |
