Programme Content | The programme aims at equipping registered apprentices with sound technical knowledge and practical skills of electrical engineering. Vocational modules include Engineering Science, Circuit Theory, Electrical Installation, Electronic Principles, Motors and Transformers, Single-Phase and Three-Phase Circuits, Motor Control Circuits, Programmable Logic Controller Programming etc. | |
Career Prospects | Graduates may be employed as maintenance electricians, electrical installation electricians and electrical services fitters. With relevant working experience, they may apply for Grade A Electrical Worker Registration. | |
Articulation | Graduates may further their studies in the Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programme. Holders of Diploma of Vocational Education are considered having met the general entrance requirements of Higher Diploma programmes (not applicable to programmes with specific entrance requirements).
