Completion of Secondary 3 or equivalent.

Programme Aims

The programme aims at providing students with necessary knowledge and skills of interior and exhibition design including three-dimensional graphics, drafting and visual presentation, spatial design, three-dimensional materials and construction, design methodology and principles, color theory, lighting, and creative thinking skills via the blending of theoretical knowledge and practical applications and enables them to pursue a career in interior and exhibition design industries.

Career Prospects

Graduates may take up position at junior level as junior interior designers, project coordinators, draftsmen, on-site operation assistants for interior, convention and exhibition services, etc.

Articulation

Holders of Diploma of Vocational Education (students admitted to DVE in AY2017/18 or before are required to complete prescribed further studies modules) are considered having met the general entrance requirements of Higher Diploma programmes (not applicable to programmes with specific entrance requirements).
