Recognised Qualifications
  • Upon successful completion of each certificate programme, learners will receive a certificate in vocational English issued by Vocational Training Council (VTC)
  • With the certificates of ALL the five certificate programmes listed in the table above, learners will be recognised to have attained the English requirement for admission to Higher Diploma programmes offered ​by the VTC through the special admission quota for non-standard entry to local sub-degree programmes.  (Applications will be assessed individually by the departments concerned.)

Entry Requirements

VES 1, 2 and 3 Having studied English at S5 Level or equivalent
VES 4 and 5 Attainment of Level 2 in English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent

Applicants who do not meet the entry requirement​ are required to pass an entry test before admission to the programme.
