  1. Applicants with higher qualifications, holders of BCC or those who possess relevant work experience may apply for study exemption for some of the modules.
  2. The actual curriculum hours may be slightly different from the normal curriculum hours due to the electives chosen.

Programme Content
The programme covers knowledge of building services and operating principles of various kinds of building facilities. It covers Safety, Health and Environment, Building Services Engineering Technology, Electrical Theory, Building Services Engineering Drawing, Electrical Services, Air-conditioning, Fire Services, Plumbing & Drainage Practices and Intelligent Home Systems, etc. 
Career Prospects
Graduates may pursue career development in the trade of building services as artisans, technical assistants or sales.
Articulation
Graduates may further their study in the Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programme. Holders of Diploma of Vocational Education are considered having met the general entrance requirements of Higher Diploma programmes (not applicable to programmes with specific entrance requirements). Professional Recognition
The programme is recognised by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of the HKSAR as satisfying the academic requirements for the registration as Grade A Electrical Worker. With relevant electrical working experience, they may apply for Grade A Electrical Worker registration.

  1. For most modules of the programmes, the medium of instruction and assessments is Chinese.
