Programme Content
This programme aims at equipping registered apprentices with appropriate trade knowledge and practical training. Vocational modules include Computer Aided Drafting - Mechanical, Electrical Knowledge, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Application, Welding Technology, etc.
Career Prospects
Graduates may be employed as Mechanical Fitter in engineering trades including mechanical repair and maintenance, mass transit carrier and building services repair and maintenance, ship repair.
Articulation
Graduates can further their study in the Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programme. Holders of Diploma of Vocational Education are considered having met the general entrance requirements of Higher Diploma programmes (not applicable to programmes with specific entrance requirements).   1. For some modules of the programmes, the medium of instruction and assessments is Chinese.
