HKDI covers a wide range of design programmes, and the institution regularly organises design workshops and encourages students to participate in overseas exchanges and competitions. These experiences deepened my understanding of design and arts culture. After completing my Higher Diploma, I was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in architecture at a renowned UK university, equipping myself to become an architectural designer.

The project-based learning approach of the DVB programme allowed me to gain hands-on experience and acquire industry-relevant skills and project workflows. These valuable experiences helped me successfully progress to a bachelor’s degree programme in the UK.

I was honoured to receive the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme 2021/22 (HK$1.5 million)—becoming the first VPET student awarded this prestigious scholarship.
