The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) is committed to nurturing work-ready graduates through the strong industry integration and global orientation, to meet industry needs. Through the provision of six academic niches areas, including Product and Fashion Designs, Sports and International Events Management, Digital Construction and Building Services, Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management, Chinese Medicine and Food Science and Hotel Management and Culinary Arts and Technology, THEi offers "Applied Science-Oriented" degree programmes.
As a member institution of the Vocational Training Council (VTC), THEi offers a future-proof programmes in areas which respond to the needs of growth industries. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical know-how through industrial attachments, real-life projects and overseas exchanges to produce professional and work-ready graduates. This is exemplified by the almost 95% employment rate of our 2022 graduates.*
THEi's programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). Twenty-two 4-year degree programmes are available for S6 students to apply in the 2024/25 academic year, including, thirteen self-financing programmes (apply via VTC S6 Admission Portal) and nine SSSDP subsidised programmes (apply via the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS)).
