Programme Content
The programme aims at equipping registered apprentices with sound technical knowledge and practical skills in electrical engineering. Vocational modules include Engineering Science, Circuit Theory, Electrical Installation, Electronic Principles, Motors and Transformers, Single-Phase and Three-Phase Circuits, Motor Control Circuits, Programmable Logic Controller Programming etc.

Career Prospects
Graduates could be employed as maintenance electricians, electrical installation electricians and electrical services fitters. With relevant working experience, they may apply for Grade 'A' electrical worker registration.
Articulation
Graduates can further their studies in the Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programme. Holders of Diploma of Vocational Education are considered having met the general entrance requirements of Higher Diploma programmes (not applicable to programmes with specific entrance requirements). Professional Recognition
This programme is recognized by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of the HKSAR Government as satisfying the academic requirements for registration as Grade 'A' electrical worker.

  1. Most of the modules in the programmes are conducted and assessed in Chinese.
