Diploma

The Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) programme, offered by the Youth College (YC), covers professional areas including Business and Services, Engineering, and Design and Information Technology. The programme combines general skills, vocational training, and personal development modules to meet students' diverse interests and industry needs, facilitating both further education and employment.

Typically, the duration of the DVE programmes is one year, with some modules taught and assessed in Chinese. The curriculum is designed with reference to market needs and the General Descriptors of Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF), ensuring the qualifications are widely recognised.

DVE graduates will be eligible to apply for VTC's Higher Diploma programmes^*. They are entitled to be granted module exemptions when they complete the respective programmes and pursue further studies in the relevant subject area^{^}. Upon completion, students can choose to enter the workforce or pursue further education for higher qualifications.
