為了在學前教育推廣「惜物減廢」文
化，
IVE
幼兒、長者及社會服務系的
幼兒教育中心與環境保護署合作，
於

月以先導形式推出「惜
物減廢環保學前教育計劃」，旨在向
幼兒園及幼稚園引入有系統的環保
方案；當中措施包括向

間參與學
校提供減廢教材套，以及為幼兒度
身訂造互動回收箱，協助教師以創
意推廣環保教育。

推動環保和回收方面的努力獲
得社會認同，連續四年榮獲「環保園
之友」獎項，同時，又獲得「塑出環
保、膠給仁愛堂」塑膠回收伙伴計
劃
2014/15
（學校組別）金獎、卓越
大獎及清新大獎。此外，

（青衣）

IVE
（屯門）參加「知慳惜電節能比
賽
2014
」，分別獲勁減用量項目的
亞、季軍獎項。

and Waste Recycling
At the same time, the VTC is
committed to reducing its energy
consumption, increasing efficiency
and minimising waste. In pursuit of
these goals, we actively encourage
and fac i l i tate a l l member s of
VTC to par ticipate in different
energy conser vation campaigns
and env i ronmenta l protec t i on
programmes.
In order to promote a ‘use less,
waste less’ culture in pre-primary
education, our Child Education
Centre for Teaching and Learning
of IVE's Department of Childcare,
Elderly and Community Ser vices
collaborated with the Environmental
Protection Department to launch
t h e p i l o t s c h o o l c a m p a i g n
‘Prevention F irst before Reuse
and Recycling’ in December 2014,
aiming to introduce a systematic
environmental protection package to
nursery schools and kindergartens.
As pa r t o f t h i s i n i t i a t i ve , 50
participating schools were supplied
with education packages on waste
reduction, as well as a tailor-
made interactive recycling bin
to assist teachers in promoting
environmental education in their
schools in a creative way.

suppor t s f or waste recyc l i ng ,
the VTC has won the ‘Friends of
Ecopark’ award for the past four
years and been honoured with a
Gold Award, Excellence Award and
Cleanliness Award in the schools
category of the Yan Oi Tong Plastic
Recycling Par tnership Scheme
2014/15. IVE (Tsing Yi) and IVE
(Tuen Mun) were named 1st and
2nd runners-up respectively in the
Biggest Unit Saver Award (School)
category of the Power Smart Energy
Saving Contest 2014.
