Our discipline covers four key areas: culinary arts, hotel and catering, tourism and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions), and leisure and sports. Hospitality :

With professional knowledge and practical experience, Hospitality graduates have been well sought by the industry. Graduates may be employed by various hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, Hong Kong International Airport, airlines, theme parks, tourist attractions, cruise companies, clubhouses, property management companies, exhibition centres, events management companies, sport associations, Leisure and Cultural Services Department or other government departments and major public organisations.

Chinese Cuisine / International Cuisine :

Graduates will be ready to take up positions in diversified hospitality industry, such as hotels and resorts, cruises and theme parks, catering groups and restaurants, private clubs and events, beverage and wine suppliers etc.

HTI students claims 1 Silver Medal and 2 Medallions for Excellence at WorldSkills Lyon 2024.

VTC Hospitality sent five contestants to represent Hong Kong in five skills competitions at the WorldSkills Lyon 2024 competition, known as the Olympics of the skills world. They won one Silver medal and two Medallions for Excellence, setting a historical record and reflecting the internationally recognised skills of the Hong Kong contestants.

CCI teachers and students receive awards at the 9th World Championship of Chinese Cuisine Competition 2024

At the prestigious 9th World Championship of Chinese Cuisine 2024 hosted in Vancouver, Canada, the exceptional talents from CCI, including students, graduates, and instructors, achieved remarkable success by securing a total of eight distinguished team and individual awards. This globally renowned competition witnessed the outstanding performance of the CCI team among over 70 teams from around the world, showcasing their exceptional skills and dedication to culinary excellence.

IVE student wins a Silver Medal at the 2024 Asian Skating Invitational.

Choi Kai Wong, an IVE student of Higher Diploma in Sports Coaching and a member of the Hong Kong Skate Team, participated in Skate Asia 2024 held in Taipei. This event, known as the largest figure skating competition in Asia, brought together over 600 athletes. With an outstanding performance, he was awarded the Silver medal.
