Graduates of the Higher Diploma in Child Care and Education are eligible for registration as Kindergarten Teachers with the Education Bureau of the HKSAR. They are also eligible for registration as Child Care Workers, Child Care Supervisors and Special Child Care Workers with the Social Welfare Department of the HKSAR.
Graduates of the Higher Diploma in Play-based Learning are eligible to work as Event Assistant and Coordinator, Programme Officer and Worker, School-based Support Tutor, Welfare Worker, Play Instructor, Well-being Tutor in social enterprises, business and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). They may also be employed as Extra-Curricular Activity Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Outdoor Activities Facilitator, Outdoor Education Instructor, Project Officer, Teaching Assistant in educational settings.
Graduates of the Higher Diploma in Integrated Social and Health Services are eligible for registration as health workers with the Social Welfare Department. They can serve as health care officers, programme workers and rehabilitation assistants in nursing care and community health related sectors.
Graduates of the Higher Diploma in Community Service Planning and Navigation are equipped with the knowledge of the silver market, project management skills and design thinking mindset. They can work as community executive, community development officer, programme worker, rehabilitation assistant and gerontech ambassador etc. in social enterprises, business and non-governmental organisations.
Graduates of the Higher Diploma in Social Work are eligible for registration as registered social workers with the Social Workers Registration Board. They can serve as social work assistant or related positions.
Graduates of the Higher Diploma in Special Child Care and Inclusive Education are eligible for registration as Kindergarten Teachers with the Education Bureau of the HKSAR. They are also eligible for registration as Child Care Workers, Child Care Supervisors and Special Child Care Workers with the Social Welfare Department of the HKSAR. Graduates can serve children with and without special educational needs and non-Chinese speaking children in kindergartens and child care centres.
