Programme Aims | Higher Diploma in Tourism and MICE (Travel Industry Management): The programme aims to facilitate students to pursue their careers in the tourism industry. Students will acquire their professional knowledge through a wide spectrum of related subjects, and develop their technical competence through practices in simulated travel agency and industrial attachment. Higher Diploma in Tourism and MICE (MICE and Event Management): The programme aims to facilitate students to pursue their careers in the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. Students will acquire their professional knowledge through a wide spectrum of MICE-related subjects, and develop their technical competence through practices in industrial attachment at MICE- or event-related organisations. Students can gain job experiences in the real workplace environment. The programme is designed with an emphasis on practical job knowledge and skills, generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation. | |
