Programme Aims
The programme covers the knowledge and skills required for the Category "A" Aircraft Maintenance License and the course is approved by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department. It is jointly developed by Youth College and the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO), and HAECO provides industrial training to all students. Graduates may choose to seek employment or further their studies.
Professional Recognition
The programme is recognised by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department and Hong Kong Aircraft Maintenance Co. Ltd.
Notes
  1. Normally 3 semesters during one academic year, depending on students’ study progress and academic results.
  2. For some modules of the programmes, the medium of instruction and assessments is Chinese.
  3. Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
