Mainland and
Regional Connections
Engagement with Mainland China
and countries in the vicinity of Hong
Kong is important for the development
of the VTC. During the past year,
significant efforts have been made
in establishing closer ties with
institutions and organisations on the
Mainland and expanding our reach to
major cities and provinces including
Beijing, Guangdong, Guangxi, Ningbo,
Shanghai and Sichuan. Liaison with
nearby Southeast Asia countries, such
as Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and
Malaysia, have also been developed.
Through this extended network and a
series of collaborative activities, joint
programmes and exchanges, we are
able to share the experiences on the
development of human capital with our
country and the region.
Strategic Alliances
In 2015/16, the VTC expanded the
number and scope of its partnerships
with renowned institutions to provide
our students with more opportunities
to engage in internships and exchange
activities. These included Sichuan
Changjiang Vocational College, Ningbo
College of Health Sciences and
Qingyuan Polytechnic.
Several MoUs were also signed
to promote collaboration. HKDI
signed agreements with a number of
prominent Mainland design institutions
including Guangzhou Academy of Fine
Arts School of Innovation Design,
Shenzhen University College of Art and
Design, and Beijing Institute of Fashion
Technology.

繫
內地及鄰近國家的院校及機構，對
VTC
的發展極為重要。過去一年，我們
積極擴闊接觸面至各主要省市，包括北
京、廣東、廣西、寧波、上海及四川。
而我們的關係網絡亦延展至新加坡、泰
國、印尼及馬來西亞等東南亞國家。我
們透過推展合作項目、協辦課程、師生
交流等，與內地及亞太地區伙伴就人力
發展分享經驗心得。

年度，
VTC
成功與更多知名院
校結成伙伴，又或擴大合作規模，為學
生提供更多實習及交流機會。伙伴院校
包括四川長江職業學院、寧波衞生職業
技術學院和清遠職業技術學院。
年內亦與內地院校簽訂多項合作備忘
錄。其中，
HKDI
與廣州美術學院工業
設計學院、深圳大學藝術設計學院、北
京服裝學院等優秀設計院校達成多項合
作協議。
