對於社會各界的慷慨捐贈與贊助，大
力支持
VTC
的工作，我們深感鼓舞。
2015/16
年度，我們獲得多個慈善基
金及團體的新捐款。
新的捐款項目有國際扶輪
3450
地區捐
款設立「扶輪香港職訓獎學金」，支援
VTC
學生的學習需要；「鵬程慈善基金」
資助基礎課程文憑學生考取更高學歷，
包括升讀高級文憑課程和
THEi
學位課
程；大家樂集團亦為
THEi
學生設立獎
學金；而香港賽馬會成立的獎學金，則
資助
VTC
高級文憑畢業生到海外修讀有
關飛機工程／海事科技或設計學士學位
課程。
此外，伍潔宜慈善基金再度捐出助學
金，讓
100
名來自低收入家庭的香港
專業教育學院
(IVE)
及
HKDI
學生受惠。
HKDI
設計學生亦得到美思堂文教基金
支持，前往瑞士洛桑州立藝術學院及丹
麥皇家藝術學院交流；表現出色的高級
文憑課程學生，則獲得「滙豐職業教育
獎學金」和「邵明路基金會獎學金」獎勵。
Donations and
Sponsorships
We are encouraged by the strong
support of industry in the form of
donations and sponsorships. In
2015/16, several new donations were
received from charitable foundations
and organisations.
These included the Rotary International
District 3450, which established
the “Rotary Hong Kong Vocational
Scholarship” to support the learning
needs of VTC students; the Bright Future
Charitable Foundation, which funded
progression scholarships to support
Diploma of Foundation Studies students
moving on to Higher Diploma (HD) and
Degree study at THEi; and Café de
Coral, which provided scholarships for
THEi students. Also, The Hong Kong
Jockey Club offered scholarships to
support our HD graduates to pursue
undergraduate studies in fields related
to aviation and marine engineering
studies and design, at overseas
institutions.
Wu Jieh Yee Charitable Foundation
made a second donation to provide
financial support to 100 students of
the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational
Education (IVE) and HKDI from less
privileged backgrounds, and Muses
Foundation for Culture and Education
sponsored HKDI design students to
join exchange programmes at the
ecole cantonale d'art de
Lausanne
and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine
Arts. Meanwhile, the HSBC Vocational
Education Scholarship and Shao Ming
Lo Foundation Scholarships both
reward our HD students for outstanding
performances.
