Basic Information

The Programme aims to equip students with professional expertise in applying AI to business management and foster their ability to integrate AI solutions in real business environments, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the demands of a rapidly transforming digital economy. Graduates will possess hands-on skills in AI-driven business analytics, enterprise resource planning, digital operations, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. They will become competitive and innovative professionals in the information technology industry, capable of making effective contributions to digital transformation initiatives across various sectors.

  2. The programme is newly offered in AY2026/27. The programme will undergo learning programme accreditation with the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications in 2026.

*Upon completion of the Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate (DVB) programmes, students can progress to Degree programmes in VTC, subject to their BTEC and IGCSE results.
  1. These are the entrance requirements of Year 1 entry.
  2. For 2024 HKDSE and before, a "Grade D or E" and a "Grade C or above" in an HKDSE Other Language subject (Category C subjects) are regarded as equivalent to an HKDSE subject at "Level 2" and "Level 3" respectively; From 2025 HKDSE onwards, Language Proficiency Level A2 or above in French / German / Spanish, N3 or above in Japanese and TOPIK II: Grade 3 or above in Korean are also recognised as one of the five HKDSE subjects in fulfilling the general entrance requirement. Recognition of Urdu Language subject in 2026 HKDSE Other Language subject (Category C subjects) will be announced later. For details, please click here. One Other Language subject can be counted for admission purpose.
  3. An "Attained", "Attained with Distinction (I)" and "Attained with Distinction (II)" in an HKDSE Applied Learning (ApL) subject (Category B subjects) are regarded as equivalent to an HKDSE subject at "Level 2", "Level 3" and "Level 4" respectively, and a maximum of two ApL subjects (excluding ApL(C)) can be counted for admission purpose. The results of relevant ApL subjects will be considered in the application for Degree programmes. Relevant ApL subjects include: Innovative Product Design, Jewellery Design in Digital Age, The Essentials of Theatre Arts,Automotive Technology, AI and Robotics, AI in Business, Computer Game and Animation Design, Digital Media and Radio Production, Internet of Everything Application, Tech Basics, Creative Advertising, Digital Brand Communication.
  4. An “Attained” in HKDSE Citizenship and Social Development is regarded as equivalent to an HKDSE subject at “Level 2” for admission purpose.
  5. HKDSE Liberal Studies at Level 2 or above will be recognised for meeting the subject requirement of Citizenship and Social Development.

Career Prospects

Graduates of the BScAIEM programme will be well-positioned to pursue a wide range of career opportunities that require a strong combination of AI technical proficiency and enterprise management capability such as AI Application Specialist, Strategy and Transformation Analyst and Digitalisation Officer. Graduates will be able to enter diverse industries, including technology startups, consulting firms, financial institutions, logistics and retail enterprises, as well as public sector agencies actively adopting AI-driven operations.
