Higher Diploma

VTC’s member institutions—the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE), Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology (HKIIT), International Culinary Institute (ICI), and Chinese Culinary Institute (CCI)—offer full-time and part-time Higher Diploma (HD) programmes for secondary school graduates. These programmes cover a wide range of disciplines, allowing students to choose their preferred professional fields based on their interests and abilities, whether they aim to pursuing a professional career or further studies.

Part-time Day

Part-time Higher Diploma programmes are closely aligned with industry needs, and the qualifications obtained are widely recognised. Students who choose to enrol in designated programmes may apply for the Vplus Subsidy Scheme, which provides government funding covering up to 60% of their tuition fees^#.

Notes: Students of part-time day programmes are normally required to attend one day and one to two evenings a week. For evening classes, students are normally required to attend classes from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Some programmes will have classes scheduled during Summer Semester.
