The contest aims at arousing public awareness of the Maritime and Port Industry by providing a platform for the general public and secondary school students to showcase their envisioned Maritime and Port Industry through the camera lens. The contest was well-received by both Open and Secondary School Groups.
An award presentation ceremony and an exhibit of the winning entries were held at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum on 23 November. During the ceremony, two serving sea-going officers were invited to share their seafaring experience through their photos with a view to further promoting the industry to the public.
