Serving Industry with Expertise
The future of our city hinges upon the quality of its
people. It is one of our major goals to upskill the
workforce and nurture a culture of skills excellence
through quality training and services.
Upskilling the Workforce
The VTC has stepped up its in-service
support endeavours, which include vocational
assessments for various service industries.
These provide a citywide competency assessment
platform for enhancing the professional standards
of industry practitioners.
In collaboration with the Guangdong Occupational
Skill Testing Authority (GD-OSTA) and an
international professional organisation, the ‘One
Examination, Multiple Certification’ (OEMC)
System was launched in 2013 with Beauty Care
and Hairdressing as pilot industries. Since then,
around 700 candidates have taken the assessment
either in Hong Kong or in the Mainland, and over
260 individuals successfully gained recognition of
achievement during the past year. OEMC for Elderly
Care was launched in 2015.

提升人才水平
VTC
不斷加強對在職人士的支援，為多
個服務行業提供專業能力評估服務，透
過這個全港通行的能力評估平台，提升
從業員的專業水平。
2013
年，我們與廣東省職業技能鑒定
指導中心及一間國際專業機構協作，推行
「一試多證」計劃，率先在美容及美髮兩
個行業試行。迄今已有約
700
名考生在
本地或內地參加評估，去年通過評估並
獲資格認可的考生超過
260
人。安老服
務業的「一試多證」計劃亦於
2015
年推
出。
