我們致力維持穩健的質素保證制度，以
「切合所需」為原則，確保
VTC
的職業專
才教育課程符合業界和學生的最新需要。
2015/16
年度，
VTC
轄下的香港專業教
育學院
(IVE)
、香港知專設計學院
(HKDI)
、
海事訓練學院、酒店及旅遊學院、中華
廚藝學院、國際廚藝學院
(ICI)
通過了香
港學術及職業資歷評審局的課程覆審，
取得資歷架構第四級的學科範圍評審資
格。這項評審資格更延展至銀行、保
險、汽車工程、精密行業、紡織及服裝
科技五個範疇。
資歷名冊的學習及培訓範疇重新分類
後，
VTC
現時所獲的學科範圍評審資格
涵蓋共
30
個學科範圍，表示我們可在所
核准的時期內，發展相關範圍的課程，
並自行負責質素保證及授課教學，毋須
經評審局評審。
年內，
VTC
三個全新學士課程，包括資訊
及通訊科技、零售管理、測量學亦已通過
評審局評審。此等課程將於
2016/17
年
開辦，配合學生及業界的需求。
Currently the PAA status of the VTC
covers a total of 30 programme
areas under the New Classification
of Areas of Study and Training in the
Qualifications Register. This status
allows the VTC, within an approved
period, to develop, quality assure and
offer programmes within these areas,
without further accreditation by the
HKCAAVQ.
During the year, three new VTC Degree
programmes, namely Information and
Communications Technology, Retail
Management and Surveying, were
accredited by the HKCAAVQ. These
new programmes are to be launched
in 2016/17 to meet students’ and
industries’ demands.
Enhancing Quality Assurance
and Programme Accreditation
We pride ourselves on our commitment
to maintain a robust quality assurance
system. Based on a ‘fitness for
purpose’ approach, this system helps
ensure our VPET programmes and
services are meeting the evolving
needs of the industries concerned
and our students.
In 2015/16, the Hong Kong Institute
of Vocational Education (IVE), Hong
Kong Design Institute (HKDI), Maritime
Services Training Institute, Hotel and
Tourism Institute, Chinese Culinary
Institute and International Culinary
Institute (ICI) were re-accredited by the
Hong Kong Council for Accreditation
of Academic and Vocational
Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) and granted
Programme Area Accreditation (PAA)
status at QF Level 4. The PAA status
has now been extended to cover five
additional programme areas, namely
Banking, Insurance, Automotive,
Precision Trades, and Textile and
Clothing Technology.
