Evidence that the THEi programmes
serve Hong Kong well can be seen
from the fact that six of them were
included in the dozen programmes
selected for the Government’s Study
Subsidy Scheme for Designated
Professions/Sectors in 2015/16.
Top-up Degrees were offered during
the year to meet the aspirations of
HD graduates and other sub-degree
holders for higher qualifications.
In the year under review, 56 Top-up
Degree programmes from the School
for Higher and Professional Education
(SHAPE) were offered in collaboration
with 11 partner universities, together
serving over 4,000 students. Alongside
these, Master Degree programmes
were offered in partnership with the
University of Warwick in the UK.
