Besides that, we also accelerated
our internationalisation effor ts
by actively fostering international
and regional co-operation with like-
minded partners.
During the year, we signed several
new agreements with institutions
from around the world to herald new
partnerships. Through these, we are
able to provide our students and
staff members with global learning
and training opportunities. We will
continue to expand these links and
explore more overseas attachment
oppor tunities for our students,
allowing them to gain international
exposure and broaden their global
perspective.
Creating Win-win
Partnerships
The VTC continues to consolidate
its relationships with local, regional
and mainland partners, aiming to
create fur ther oppor tunities for
academic and other collaboration.
A number of new partnerships were
formed during the year. These
collaborations support VTC’s vision
to be a leading VPET provider in the
region by expanding its services to
various cities and provinces in the
Mainland.
World-class
Supporting Infrastructure
In addition to expanding local,
regional and global networks, we
constantly upgrade our 30-plus
campuses and their facilities so as
to maximise students’ potential,
hence preparing them well for the
requirements of the global economy.
A few years ago, we embarked on
the ambitious initiative of building a
mega campus housing Hong Kong
Design Institute and Hong Kong
Institute of Vocational Education
(Lee Wai Lee), putting in place a
world-class facility to support the
Government’s policies in developing
cultural and creative industries.
This mega campus concept not
only provides efficient utilisation of
space, but is also a good means
of showcasing the importance and
value of VPET in Hong Kong.
As a dynamic and progressive
VPET provider, the VTC is currently
experiencing growth in both student
numbers and student residents
on campus. To meet this growing
demand, it is impor tant for us
to look strategically into campus
development. During the year, a
number of capital projects have
been undertaken including a new
environmentally-friendly campus
for the Technological and Higher
Education Institute of Hong Kong
(THEi) in Chai Wan, and a new
student dormitory at IVE (Tsing Yi).

此外，我們亦積極與國際及區內志
同道合的伙伴深化合作，加快
VTC
的國際化進程。
年內，我們與世界各地機構簽訂多
項新協議，開創伙伴關係，為師生
提供全球學習和培訓機會。我們將
繼續拓展國際連繫，為學生尋求更
多海外實習機會，汲取外國經驗，
擴闊全球視野。
創建雙贏伙伴同盟
VTC
繼續與本地、區內和內地的合
作伙伴鞏固關係，旨在創造源源良
機，促成學術等多方面協作。
我們同時透過建立新的伙伴關係，
讓
VTC
的服務進一步延展至內地
多個省市。我們向着成為亞太區
卓越的職業專才教育機構的願景，
又邁前了一大步。
世界級基建項目
除了擴大本地、區內和全球網絡，
我們亦持續優化

多個校園及其設
施，助學生盡展潛能，為配合全球
經濟需求而作好充足準備。
數年前，為支持政府發展文化創意
產業，我們啟動了一個宏大的發展
規劃，將香港知專設計學院及香港
專業教育學院（李惠利）結合納入
一個配備世界級設施的大型校園。
此大型校園的概念不僅善用空間，
亦凸顯職業專才教育在本港的重要
價值。
