The VTC is always keen to maintain close relationships with
alumni. To strengthen bonds between industries, alumni,
philanthropists, foundations and other key stakeholders, we
have set up the new Institutional Advancement Division in
November 2012.
Alumni Contributions to VTC Development
Steered by the new division, the Alumni Relations Office
acts as the bridge between the VTC and alumni to nurture
lifelong, mutually beneficial relationships. Efforts have also
been made to encourage alumni to offer volunteer and
philanthropic support for the VTC.
Apart from volunteering and making donations, many of our
alumni have returned to help our students and acted as
mentors through the Career Navigation Scheme.
In 2012, eight former students were presented the VTC
30th Anniversary Outstanding Alumni Awards to honour their
dedicated support to the VTC and its alumni development,
as well as the outstanding achievements in their respective
industries.
