Entrance Requirements
Holders of Craft Certificate in Gas Services Engineering OR Certificate of Vocational Education (Gas Services Engineering) OR Equivalent
  • Normally to be completed in 2.5 to 3 years with 3 to 4 evenings per week.
  • Modules to be taken are at different levels.
    Required No. of Credits for Graduation :
    Modules at Level 2 or below: 228
    Modules at Level 3 or above: 232 
Note : Applicants with higher qualifications or relevant work experience may apply for exemption for some modules
Programme Content
The programme covers knowledge of gas services and skill training. It covers Gas Fitting Technology, Gas safety Regulation and Code, Electrical Theory and Building Services Engineering Drawing, etc.
Career Prospects
Graduates could be employed as technicians or inspectors in the trade of gas services engineering.
Articulation

Professional Recognition
This programme is recognized by the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) as meeting the educational requirements for Engineering Technician (EngTech) in accordance with the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC).
