Holders of Craft Certificate in Gas Services Engineering OR Certificate of Vocational Education (Gas Services Engineering) OR Equivalent

Programme Content
The programme covers knowledge of gas services and skill training. It covers Gas Fitting Technology, Gas safety Regulation and Code, Electrical Theory and Building Services Engineering Drawing, etc.
Career Prospects
Graduates may be employed as technicians or inspectors in the trade of gas services engineering.
Articulation
Holders of Diploma of Vocational Education are considered having met the general entrance requirements of Higher Diploma programmes (not applicable to programmes with specific entrance requirements). Please refer to the details of Higher Diploma programmes in this homepage.
Professional Recognition
This programme is recognised by the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) as meeting the educational requirements for Engineering Technician (EngTech) in accordance with the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC).
