I learned a lot in the Higher Diploma in Building Studies at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, including construction techniques , site management, relevant regulations and standards, as well as computer drawing (BIM, CAD) skills. This knowledge has enhanced my practical abilities and innovative thinking. The internship opportunities provided by the college have also made me more competitive, all of which lay a solid foundation for my future career in the construction industry.

During my studies in the Higher Diploma in Architectural Technology and Design at IVE, I further enhanced my professional skills and deepened my understanding of architectural design, building technology, and engineering practices, building upon my prior experience in architectural drafting and BIM modelling.
 
The programme integrates both theory and practical application, covering areas such as BIM modelling, architectural design, construction drawing production, and project management. This enabled me to gain a more comprehensive understanding of how BIM is applied throughout architectural projects.
 
Through group projects and industry-based internships, I also strengthened my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. This learning experience not only broadened my professional perspective but also laid a solid foundation for my future career development in the architecture and engineering industries.
