If I had not enrolled in the Higher Diploma in Software Engineering and regained my interest in Information Technology, I would have never had the opportunity to study for a Bachelor's Degree in the UK, then directly to a Doctorate, and conduct research in programming languages and compilers, let alone join Huawei to develop my career. I hope that in the future, I can apply my research results to the company's cutting-edge communication technology projects to benefit society.

The project-based learning approach of the DVB programme allowed me to gain hands-on experience and acquire industry-relevant skills and project workflows. These valuable experiences helped me successfully progress to a bachelor’s degree programme in the UK.

I was honoured to receive the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme 2021/22 (HK$1.5 million)—becoming the first VPET student awarded this prestigious scholarship.
